AV Conferencing & Collaboration Manager - Onsite position

As a tech-savvy and passionate North America Senior A/V Conferencing & Collaboration Manager, you will be part of a group responsible for all collaboration tools and processes around the organization. You will have the opportunity to let your skills shine on our Headquarter campus in Santa Clara, CA and partner with our global teams with a focus on collaboration tools and processes.

CORE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: A strategic manager who has extensive experience managing conference room and collaboration services in a large Fortune 500 corporation. Managing 500+ rooms globally.ADDED BENEFIT: Call center design and customer experience management (via Cisco, Five9, Genesis, AWS, etc...) experience.

A day in the life of a Senior A/V Manager:

Partner and lead AV integrators with innovation and vision for best in class delivery

Document, maintain and promote a World Class AV & conference room environment

User experience : Up to date with market benchmark and trends

Manage AV vendors for deployment, support and service

Collaborate with a global End User Technology team to ensure daily tracking, monitoring, and reporting of a global conference room and AV environment

Guide more junior peers on best practices for technical troubleshooting of equipment

Evaluation of AV (Audio Visual) hardware and software solution to assess fit with organizational standards and goals

Assist with various project designs for collaboration initiatives (automation for license application license management, monitoring data for consumption of service, new conference room configurations, new office designs for AV, etc…) Interaction with top executives for support requests and resolutions

Investigation, installation, acquisition, modification and support of operating systems, databases and utilization software as applicable for the Collaboration team environment

Plans, conducts and directs the understanding of business problems or potential new solutions that can be solved with automated systems.

Plans, designs, acquires and implements video conferencing and more robust audio-visual systems.

Partner with key internal teams for large events as an AV expert showcasing the flexibility of the systems to support key initiatives.

Report weekly on conference room environment metrics and KPI’s

Coordinate and lead IT stewardship of AV and Zoom technology across conference center events, EBC/Executive White Glove calls, and All-Hands Meetings. Coordinate the usage of a global team calendar for tracking and reporting of such events

Required Skills

Deep knowledge of video conferencing and AV hardware

Excellent problem-solving skills, strong logical reasoning, and solution-oriented mindset

Significant experience with AV and conference room technology across multiple vendors and technologies. Example vendors: Zoom, Logitech, Microsoft, Neat, QSC. Example technologies: Digital signage, video conferencing, audio conferencing, webcasting, HDMI/VGA, control systems, DSP, and more

Fundamental understanding of common Information Technology tools, collaboration tools and automation architecture – Office 365, Zoom, MS Teams, Neat, Poly, ServiceNow, etc.

Excellent English writing and speaking skills

Ability to articulate tough situations and technical details in an easily understood manner

In-depth understanding of conference room technology and standard use cases (including Crestron, Biamp, VoIP, etc.)

Ability to quickly review a situation and clearly respond

Fundamental understanding for common ticket resolution processes and SLAs

Experience in architecting solutions to meet global business needs in the IT collaboration and communications space (with a focus on potential automation)

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years equivalent experience within a technology-based program or industry

Ability to work onsite

Desired Skills

Understanding of Cloud Calling Telephony Services (Microsoft Teams)

Understanding of standard order processing and associated support tasks

Fundamental understanding of common networking principles and troubleshooting

Experience providing remote support via online meeting tools

Ability to create, interpret and modify network/cabling diagrams

Personal experience architecting custom automation solutions, Python preferred.

U.S. Salary Range:

$144,000.00 - $198,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
