Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused AV Field Service Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing on-site service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AV systems within the local area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:Perform on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of audio-visual systems, including projectors, displays, video conferencing systems, sound systems, and control panels.Conduct system diagnostics, perform upgrades, and ensure optimal performance of AV equipment.Maintain strong client relationships by delivering professional, responsive, and quality service.Document service calls, including work performed, issues identified, and steps taken to resolve them.Collaborate with technical support and project management teams to resolve complex issues and improve service processes.Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment on client sites.
Qualifications:CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification required.3+ years of experience in AV field service or related technical support role.Strong understanding of AV systems, networked AV, and IP-based AV equipment.Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with minimal supervision.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
