They provide more in-depth support for annual faculty and graduate student recruiting. + With limited indirect supervision and latitude for independent decision-making, duties include operating the audio-visual equipment for all donut talks, E2G2 seminars, faculty search seminars and chalk-talks, student talks and defenses, and other occasional seminars and events as necessary. + Equipment includes projectors, screens, laser pointers, and assorted wires and AV hookups as needed. + Requires punctuality and professionalism when dealing with invited outside speakers, faculty candidates, and esteemed guests. During faculty candidate talks, position will interact significantly with Event & Classroom management to coordinate video-recording equipment delivery and pickup, managing the audio appropriately, and assisting with upload and access as needed. + Position also requires interaction and negotiations with Event & Classroom Management personnel and may involve securing/renting equipment we don't have in house. _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job.
