AV Service Technician
Job Description Insight Global is seeking to hire a strong AV Service Technician to support a government integrator in the DC area. This individual will be working directly with the Project and Service Managers to perform field service technician duties such as travelling to customer locations to provide service, maintenance, and installation. The customer sites could be government buildings, raw construction environments, occupied office spaces, etc. Specific responsibilities include installing and upgrading equipment in various locations, configuring hardware and software components before and after installation, performing routine maintenance, testing equipment, documenting installation and repairs, teaching customers how to use the equipment properly, monitoring and updating information in IC ticketing system, etc. Mileage for travel will be expensed for this role. Skills and Requirements - 4+ years of AV Service experience integrating large scale AV systems o Ability to read cabling pull schedules, schematics, line diagrams, floor plans, etc. - Strong knowledge of control/automation systems: Crestron, AMX, Extron - Strong knowledge of audio DSPs: QSC, Biamp, Clearone, Symetrix - Ability to travel out-of-state from time to time - Industry certifications such as: o Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Clearone, LifeSize, Polycom, Cisco, Infocomm/Avixa (AVT, CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D) null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
