What success looks like in this role:

Unisys are looking for an AV Engineer, with strong audio visual and video conferencing knowledge, to support our customer in London.

The successful candidate will support at both an operational and service / break fix level and will be required to provide a full office service to the client, including the day to day running of Audio-Visual services.

Responsibilities:

The distribution and management of AV tickets, ad-hoc AV requests and video conferencingManage and update the on-site audio visual Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Maintain an inventory of supported rooms/suites and AV equipment thereinAssist in providing data for reporting purposesSupport regular user training activitiesDeal with day-to-day administrative duties and any ad-hoc duties requiredInstall, diagnose, service and maintain industry standard AV products as well as other computer-related products in meeting rooms/spaces and conference suitesMay be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script using standard methods, techniques, and toolsManage tickets in client’s ServiceNow environmentProvides AV related technical support to customers in solving technical problems that occur during the installation or operation of company supported productsDesk side support specialist with good customer service mannerMay have project management responsibilities for smaller projectsPerforms installs, moves, adds and changes as requiredPerform regular inspections to ensure AV equipment is setup and working correctlyProvides follow-up on problems or escalationWork with local Facilities Management and 3rd party vendors where necessary to resolve issues (including escorting of OEM’s/Vendor support staff)Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Previous experience in a similar roleGood knowledge of Audio-Visual & VC SystemsExperience of installing AV & IT hardware and software, including configuration, diagnosing and resolving problemsAbility to plan and prioritize workloadAbility to work under pressureCompetent to a high level of computer literacyAble to work as part of a teamGood communication skills both verbal and written
