**What you'll bring to the team**
We are actively seeking a dynamic **AV Specialist** to join our team and play a pivotal role in creating captivating and interactive and immersive experiences for our visitors across our attractions. Join us and be an integral part of enhancing the overall enjoyment for our guests.
As an AV Specialist, you will collaborate with the technical maintenance team to oversee the maintenance of 4D Cinema systems, critical assets, and commercial projects. Your responsibilities will align with the company's business objectives and values, encompassing Planned Preventative Maintenance, ensuring quality customer experiences, continual evaluation of working practices, cultivation of contractor relationships, minimizing downtime, and where feasible repairing show-related hardware. Additionally, you'll play a key role in editing and installing both video and audio to various types of media players.
In this thrilling role, you will have the chance to contribute to various areas, including the 4D Experience, Digital Signage Displays, Foreign Language Tour Guide on the Silver Bonito (boat), SEA LIFE London Aquarium AV installations, and providing installation assistance to other London Cluster Attractions such as Madame Tussauds London, the London Dungeon, and Shrek’s Adventure! London.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday to Friday work schedule, requiring flexibility around key deadlines and projects.
**Qualifications & Experience**
+ You’ll be a passionate, creative individual with good working knowledge of sound and lighting installation systems, DMX programming, computer literacy and fault finding on entertainment software and equipment
+ You will have completed a recognised apprenticeship or hold a recognised qualification (e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, ONC in an AV discipline or a comparable national or service qualification).
+ Experience in cinema projection technology and maintenance, Planned Preventative Maintenance systems, Asset Management Systems, Building Management systems and statutory and legislative requirements is desirable.
