Job Description:
ASRC federal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AV/VTC Engineer to join our team at Ft. Leavenworth, KS. This role is critical to the daily operation and management of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Conference Room systems. The candidate will be responsible for managing scheduling, troubleshooting, and configuring VTC systems to ensure seamless execution of conferences and events, both classified and unclassified. A solid understanding of DoD VTC requirements and familiarity with AR 25-1 and DoD PAM 25-91 is essential.
Key duties include the configuration of Tandberg/Cisco codecs and VTC systems, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various sites. The role also demands hands-on experience with AV control systems such as AMX, Crestron, and Extron to support both routine and high-profile events.
Additionally, the candidate will provide AV and technical support for live events, which may occur both on and off-site, including some weekends. This role requires an individual who is adaptable, proactive, and possesses a problem-solving mindset to address any last-minute changes or issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily management and support of VTC and conference systems. Schedule, troubleshoot, and configure VTC systems for internal and external sites. Support live events, including weekends, when necessary. Ensure adherence to DoD standards and requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to meet the audio-visual needs for scheduled events.Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The role is primarily based in a standard office environment but may require flexibility for on-site and off-site event support. Candidates must be capable of handling live events, troubleshooting on the spot, and responding to emergencies in a timely manner.
