General Description\n
As a key component of the TSG BD Team, the Capture Manager is responsible for the development of business opportunities, development of opportunity capture plans that contain budgetary requirements, customer contact plans, schedules, and solution architecture that satisfies customer requirements. Furthermore, the Capture Manager is ultimately responsible for developing capture strategies, proposal win strategies, technical\/management strategies, pricing strategies, and color proposal team reviews. The Capture Manager is also responsible for the coordination of resources and delineates responsibilities within a Cross-Functional capture team and defines activities\/actions that lead to the capture of new business opportunities for Tyonek and its shareholders.\n
Duties\n\nShape and secure business opportunities from DoD, OGA, and FMS organizations. Lead major capture efforts and implement processes and approaches for collection, interpretation, and dissemination of information to develop and make informed recommendations on identified captures.\nPerforms market research to determine Price to Win Analysis.\nPerforms Gap and SWOT analyses that assist in the development of strategic and winning team relationships.\nOperate within the overall TSG business development and capture processes, philosophy and policies. \nMaintains a professional approach to performing duties, including full awareness and compliance of applicable Federal Procurement and Corporate Business Ethics Codes and Regulations.\nPosition TSG with identified clients and provide business and competitive intelligence \nWork closely with Cross-Functional Managers to develop operational solutions that mitigate operational and fiscal risk on new and re-compete business opportunities.\nDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including other BD and capture team members, Client Executives, Proposal Managers, and TNC BG organizations, including Division Group Executives and program management teams to ensure effective, efficient, and integrated implementation of TNC capture strategies.\nAssemble appropriate Capture Team personnel, and manage the direction of the core capture team.\nAssist in the development of successful pricing strategies, identifying risks, and interpreting solicitation requirements.\nEnsure that trade studies are completed, documented, and used as discriminators in identified captures. Additionally, stay abreast of TSG technical offerings, successes, and breakthroughs and identify\/develop opportunities to apply such capabilities to client requirements.\nForm winning industry teams based on customer knowledge, analysis of performance requirements, and considering special areas, such as small business utilization.\nAdvance the development of customer profiles and competitive assessments, by identifying and analyzing strengths and weaknesses of TSG and potential competitors. Identify potential risks and develop avoidance and mitigation capture strategies.\nEnsure timely development and delivery of compliant, responsive, distinctive and integrated solutions and approaches.\nEnsure the development of proposal solutions that offer competitive distinction and executable approaches correlated with the PTW strategy.\nPerform as a professional steward of TSG resources and reputation in the execution of all assigned duties.\nMeet or exceed established performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and success.\nWill require travel (~25%+)\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\n\n
Education\/Experience Requirements\n\nEight to fifteen years of relevant client experience with a minimum of 5-7 years of direct capture management experience in the services and solutions market.\nPosition requires candidate to possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.\nMust have a demonstrated\/verifiable track record of proven success in the design and implementation of sound capture plans and strategies.\nDirect experience leading the capture of multiple large deals ($20+ million) within the Federal\/DoD markets.\nMust have a mature and active network of contacts relevant to the Federal\/DoD markets and the contractor industry that supports and operates within those markets.\nMust demonstrate the ability to think both tactically and strategically, and be able to communicate across the spectrum of levels of an organization, including demonstration of solid interpersonal, oral presentation, negotiating and influencing skills.\nMust have the ability to obtain an active SECRET security clearance and be eligible to obtain additional accesses, as required. \nNormal demands associated with an office environment. Moderate travel will be required.\nPosition prefers candidate to have a working knowledge of the Federal\/DoD budgeting, acquisition, and procurement processes.\nTyonek maintains a drug-free workplace and performs post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
