Scope of Position:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Line Technician/Maintenance Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance and operations, providing an excellent opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and knowledge in a real-world setting.

Aircraft Handling: Safely tow and park aircraft, ensuring proper positioning for maintenance and boarding. Fueling Operations: Perform fueling and defueling of aircraft, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Pre-Flight Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems and components to ensure readiness for flight. Customer Service: Provide assistance to pilots and crew, addressing any needs or concerns during ground operations. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assistance in Maintenance Tasks: Support senior technicians in performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Learn to utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot issues under the guidance of experienced technicians. Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including detailed reports on inspections and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control processes to ensure all maintenance work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements. Training and Development: Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practices. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, contributing to a safe working environment.Requirements:
Education: Enrolled in the undergraduate program; technical training in aviation or automotive technical training preferred. Experience: Previous experience in automotive or mechanical roles is a plus, demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude.Skills:
Proficient in reading wire diagrams and performing mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with hand and power tools used in maintenance and repair. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Desired Skills:
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Eager to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment. Committed to safety and quality in all aspects of work.

The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
