Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to join our collaborative and innovative Aviation team.

 

Responsibilities include:

Serving as the project manager for aviation projectsLeading and performing aviation civil engineering tasksPreparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and permitsLeading proactive client interactions and communications with regards to FAA programming, and state and government agenciesPerforming QA/QC tasksSupporting onsite during construction as the Engineer of Record, providing construction management/construction administration management to resident engineering teams.    Travel within the FAA Northwest Mountain Region is required (approximately 20% of time)

 

A valid driver’s license and good driving record is preferred. A background check may be required.

 

The successful candidate must have:

A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university AND at least eighteen (18) years of relevant experiencePE required

 

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

Experience leading complex aviation design and construction projectsAirport design experience at medium or large hub airportsExperience serving as the project manager on aviation projectsPMP certificationExperience mentoring and leading engineering project teamsConstruction management experienceMinium two years’ experience at a project manager levelLicensed civil engineer in Washington, Oregon, or Colorado (or has the ability to obtain state specific license through NCEES)Proficient AutoCAD Civil 3D skill set

Salary Range: $155,000 - $206,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
