CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Aviation Resident Engineer to join our Infrastructure - Aviation Team in Providence, RI.

The Aviation Resident Engineer is a senior level position that is responsible for overseeing construction inspection activities. They coordinate large construction projects, maintain project documentation and records, as well as oversee construction inspection field staff. The Aviation Resident Engineer will work with the project designer as necessary, chair all project related meetings, and review contractor pay quantities for accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferredNICET Level IV certification preferredPE License preferredValid Driver’s License requiredMinimum of 10 years of construction inspection experience is requiredSpecific aviation experience is requiredProficient with Microsoft Office and Excel is preferredAble to work independentlyGood oral and written communication skillsAbility to understand and interpret client’s contractsExcellent knowledge of and reinforces the company’s and client’s standardsDemonstrates a thorough knowledge about the construction industryMust be able to navigate through a construction site SALARY RANGE:

$80,000 - $95,500

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
