About YOU:

As a successful Specialist of Security Programs & Policy, you will be responsible for the daily oversight and administration of Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and internal security programs. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and work collaboratively across departments and external organizations.

This role requires a high level of accountability, responsibility, and the ability to work independently while making critical security decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as an advisor to the Director of Security, Intelligence & Technology on aviation security mattersManage security incidents and violations, including reporting, tracking, and investigationsRespond to emergency incidents and security requests, including operating a 24/7 Security HotlineEnsure compliance with domestic and international government security regulationsAdminister and maintain security-related procedures in company and regulatory manualsConsult with Crew Members on security training, policies, and proceduresDevelop and distribute security information relevant to Crew MembersDraft responses to Letters of Investigation and other security-related correspondenceAssist law enforcement agencies with customer-related legal inquiries and documentationAttend industry meetings, seminars, and training sessions as neededOversee regulatory programs such as:Cockpit Access Security System (CASS)Known Crew Member (KCM)Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)Transportation Vetting Portal (TVP) audits and administrationManage TSA-required ID media programs and conduct regular auditsInvestigate and manage station security inspections to ensure complianceAdminister and revise company security program manuals as needed

 

Fine Print:

Four-year college degree, preferably in Aviation or Legal fields preferredProven leadership and project management experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal, written, and executive-level presentation skillsExperience with FAA Part 121 & 135 regulations (Security/Host Government Security)Strong familiarity with DHS, TSA, CBP, and other regulatory agenciesGround Security Coordinator (GSC) experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong time and project management skillsWillingness to travel up to 50%
