AVIATION STOREPERSON

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person with great work ethic and attention to detail to join our warehouse team as an Aircraft Storeperson. This is not your typical 9-5 pick and pack role; we offer a great variety of work where no two days are the same. We take great pride in our supportive team environment and our outstanding health and safety culture. This permanent role will suit someone who wants to step up and take on a new challenge.

YOUR ROLE

Carry out a wide range of warehousing tasks such as receiving, binning, issuing, kitting, and despatching of material.Ensure material handling meets best practice procedures and appropriate regulatory requirements.Perform inventory cycle counts and ensure stock accuracy.Deliver materials to the workstations in the workshop.Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained.This is a safety sensitive role, and successful candidates will go through a medical assessment and drug & alcohol testing.

YOUR PROFILE

Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (citizenship, residency, or open work visa)Previous warehouse or stores experienceAble to follow instructions and work in processes.Computer literacy is essential. SAP experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.Able to work in physical tasks, such as but not limited to: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, and twisting.Ability and willingness to gain a forklift license.Driver’s license is necessary. High level of accuracy and attention to detailPositive attitude and good communication skillsAble to work autonomously.Have a great attitude towards health and safety and able to comply with a strong safety minded culture.

HOURS OF WORK

In this full-time position you will work in a fortnightly rotating shift pattern. Availability to work overtime is appreciated and compensated accordingly.
