Position Summary: MILVETS is seeking a highly skilled Avid Certified Elite Administrator to join our team and manage the architecture, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Avid Media Production systems for a government client. The candidate will hold and maintain Avid Certified Support Representative (ACSR) Elite demonstrating mastery of Avid's suite of enterprise media production tools. CompTIASec+ certification (or higher) is also preferred.
This position supports the client’s Media Section in ensuring the seamless operation of advanced media workflows and systems.
Responsibilities:
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience.
Required Qualifications: Avid Certified Support Representative (ACSR Elite) certification.Proven experience with Avid systems, including Media Composer, Pro Tools, NEXIS, Interplay, and Media Central Platform.Strong knowledge of media production workflows and asset management systems.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in broadcast, post-production, or media IT environments.Expertise in troubleshooting complex media production systems.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in architecting enterprise storage solutions.Familiarity with broadcast and newsroom workflows.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system security in media environments.Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Certifications: Avid Certified Support Representative (ACSR Elite).
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
