Avionics/Elec Tech II

Summary: Seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician II for weekend night shifts to perform installation, testing, and troubleshooting of avionics and aircraft systems.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required Four years experience in avionics/electrical field or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics with two years related experience

Preferred Skills:

A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license FCC certification NCATT certification Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate technical skills in operational testing and troubleshooting of avionics systems Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications Ensure quality and efficiency of installations; troubleshoot to provide timely repairs Repair or replace defective components and wiring using accepted techniques like splicing and soldering Set up and operate test equipment; conduct functional tests for performance evaluation Maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components Comply with company FOD program, tool control program, safety regulations

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
