Pay Rate: $36.05 per hour
About the Role:

As an Avionics/Electrical Technician IV, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of advanced avionics and electrical systems. This high-impact role involves providing expert guidance in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing cutting-edge aircraft systems to maintain peak performance and safety. What You’ll Do: Lead with Expertise: Perform high-level operational tests and troubleshooting of avionics/electrical systems. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring a skilled and safety-conscious workforce. Test and Repair Systems: Conduct functional and operational tests on avionics and aircraft systems, ensuring that repairs are made to the highest quality standards and meet engineering specifications. Problem-Solving Excellence: Diagnose and repair electrical/avionics components using best practices such as soldering, splicing, and pinning of wiring. Ensure Quality: Oversee installations to ensure compliance with engineering changes and modifications. Maintain thorough documentation of all work performed on aircraft. Set Up & Operate Equipment: Set up and use test equipment to evaluate system performance and reliability. Lead Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety protocols, maintain FOD, tool control, and 5-S programs, and ensure all operations meet regulatory standards. Adapt to Schedule Changes: Work with the team to adjust to sudden changes while keeping projects on track.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Required: High School Diploma or GED 6 years of experience in avionics/electrical systems OR 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics + 4 years of experience Demonstrated expertise in avionics testing, troubleshooting, and component repairs Live aircraft experience Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints Preferred: A&P (FAA Airframe & Powerplant) license FCC License and NCATT Certification Proficiency in other aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls) APU or engine run qualification Experience in flight testing and aircraft certification

Pay Details: $36.05 per hour
