**Job Title: Avionics Technician/Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Avionics Technician/Electrician for a long-term, full-time role. The primary focus will be on modifying, repairing, and maintaining military aircraft, specifically for weight reductions and avionics equipment upgrades on electronic warfare aircraft. These roles are fully funded and intended for long-term hire with one of the largest defense integrators in the world. **Responsibilities** + Modify, repair, and maintain military aircraft, focusing on weight reductions and avionics equipment upgrades. + Build up, install, and remove wire harnesses, test and terminate wires, troubleshoot issues, and use testing equipment according to blueprints and schematics. + Document all work performed and ensure compliance with relevant standards. + Work collaboratively with general mechanics, structures mechanics, and inspectors. + Assist teammates with various Powerplant, Airframe, Environmental Control Systems (ECS), and mechanical duties. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience on the F/A-18 or EA-18G aircraft in RADAR, ECM, AEA, or COMMNAV systems. + Experience with avionics software on F18/EA18G aircraft. + Experience with weapons systems, including ALQ-99 pods. + Eligibility for SECRET clearance. **Why Work Here?** This role offers stability through a fully funded program, government holidays, and the opportunity to support two of the most reputable government integrators in the world. All necessary tools are supplied. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Harbor, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
