As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software within the Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) team. IVHM creates solutions that perform health management for the aircraft.
Core Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Architecting, designing, and developing embedded software for IVHM products, ensuring adherence to GE's stringent processes and the DO-178C standard, which is crucial for aviation software safety and certification.
Continuous Integration and Testing: Monitoring continuous software integration and testing processes to ensure software quality and reliability.
Problem-Solving: Identifying software failures and implementing effective solutions, thereby ensuring the robustness of IVHM solutions.
Mentorship: Acting as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Required Qualifications:
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in embedded software development. Additionally, at least 1 year of experience in C coding is required.
