Avionics Field Service Engineer
**Job Description** The selected candidate will provide onsite system support as a Subject Matter Expert for P-3 and King Air 360 mission aircraft as well as UHF military SATCOM facility, aircraft and vehicle installed systems at various locations. The candidate must possess experience with airborne RADAR, electro-optic, communications, and mission computing systems troubleshooting, maintenance, and fault isolation. Will analyze hardware, software and system discrepancies to provide problem resolution to include testing and analyzing. Provide onsite technical services working independently or with other contractors to establish and apply resolution. Must have proficiency in using electronics test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, radio frequency, digital video, audio analyzers, etc.) associated with system diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair. This position is located at NAS Corpus Christi. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Corpus Christi or surrounding areas. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + High School Diploma or equivalent + Minimum of 2 years of related avionics or electronic technical training. + Minimum of 10 years of experience in avionics maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. + Ability to utilize common test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and data bus analyzers + Demonstrated ability to independently provide technical assistance on classified platforms or facilities with limited supervision. + Ability to read/understand wiring diagrams and schematics + Highly attentive to detail + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and customer, other contractors and/or end user + Ability to lift at least 30 pounds, work on ladders or in lift equipment. + Abilities/willingness to travel to various CONUS & OCONUS locations as required. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel). **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience in the following aircraft navigation and communications systems: + Collins radio navigation and air data systems. + LN-100 and LTN-92 Inertial Navigation systems. + Digital flight display systems. + TIL TDFM-9300 radio or related P-25 radio systems. + Raytheon APX-119 transponder. + AN/APS-145 RADAR organizational level troubleshooting and repair experience + MX-15HD or MX-20HD electro-optics system experience. + APG-66 Intercept RADAR organizational level troubleshooting and repair experience. + Experience with ARC-210, PSC-5D, PRC-158 and URC-200 radio systems and ancillaries such as controllers, speaker units, power amplifiers and low-noise preamplifiers. + Knowledge of configuration and use of AN/PYQ-10 Simple Key Loader or similar Common Tier 3 key loaders. + Familiarity with ISAR/SAR and dismount RADAR principles. + Familiarity with aircraft and mission common data bus architectures such as ARINC-429, Mil-STD-1553, Ethernet and Serial Digital Interface Video. + Familiarity of Minotaur Mission computing systems. + Familiarity with ARC Fill Program and/or Harris Communications Programming Application. + Experience in Electrical Wiring and Interface Systems repair, maintenance, and fabrication in accordance with NAVAIR 01-1A-505 series manuals. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
