The SkyGrid team is looking for a Avionics Systems Integration Lead (going forward referred as IPT lead) responsible for the development, integration, and testing of a high integrity system, which hosts safety of human life functions for UAM (Urban Air Mobility) operations. The high integrity system shall be developed in accordance with ARP 4754A/B and DO178C standards, therefore the IPT lead shall demonstrate previous experience in leading the design and qualification of avionic grade systems or similar. This person will be the technical lead of a multidisciplinary integrated team composed of system engineers, software engineers, V&V (Verification & Validation) engineers, and autonomy engineers. The IPT Lead is responsible for technical decisions, planning, executing, and delivering the associated documentation and software according to the program plan. This person coordinates team activities with the other IPT leads and reports the progress to the System Engineering Manager and the Chief Engineer. Performance Objectives:Release the system specifications for upcoming design reviews. Update the safety critical system design and architecture within the System/Subsystem Design Description following finalization of the design trades. Support R&D gate maturation reviews as needed.
