Why You'll Love Working HereStable Program: Enjoy the security of a fully funded, long-term position with government holidays.Prestigious Projects: Support two of the biggest and most reputable government integrators in the world.Mission-Driven: Contribute to the mission of supporting US Navy warfighters.Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement and skill development in the aviation industry.Key ResponsibilitiesWire Harness Expertise: Use your knowledge of electrical theory and aircraft wiring to build up, install, and remove wire harnesses.Testing & Troubleshooting: Test and terminate wire harnesses, troubleshoot using testing equipment, and document findings according to blueprints and schematics.Collaborative Work: Work hand in hand with general mechanics, structures mechanics, and inspectors.Versatile Support: Assist teammates in various Powerplant, Airframe, Environmental Control Systems (ECS), and mechanical duties.Essential SkillsAircraft Experience: 4+ years of experience on the F/A-18 or EA-18G aircraft in one or more of the following system specialties: RADAR, ECM, AEA, or COMMNAV.Avionics Software: Experience with the avionics software on F18/EA18G.Weapons Systems: Experience with the weapons systems including ALQ-99 pods.Security Clearance: Must be eligible for SECRET clearance.Boeing Badge: Must be eligible for a Boeing badge (no terminations on record with Boeing).Additional Skills & QualificationsHighly Desirable: Experience with the avionics software on F18/EA18G.Bonus: Experience with the weapons systems including ALQ-99 pods.Work EnvironmentShift: Day shift Monday-Friday with some Saturdays possible, 8-hour shifts.Location: On base at Whidbey Naval Air Station, working primarily in a hangar and some on the flightline, mostly inside and not exposed to elements.Tools Provided: All necessary tools are supplied.Reporting: Report to a client Lead, as well as potentially to prime contractor customer leads.Ready to soar in your career? The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00
