Avionics Technician I
Location - California, MD
Requirements:
Perform aircraft maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, and modification of aircraft electrical/avionics systemsDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications, and special tools and test equipment.Must be familiar with operational capabilities and limitations of electrical/avionics systemsPerform the troubleshooting and rewiring of complex avionics/electrical systems and subsystems discrepancies and modificationsUse blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and manufacturers' drawings and sketches in the performance of assigned dutiesMay be required to perform Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs)Complete maintenance documentation accurately using OOMA, and required forms, as required by job assignment.
Qualifications:
(2) years' experience in a primary MOS from any of the following OccFlds: 6323 Aircraft Maintenance, equivalent skill designation from other services or possess valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant CertificationMust show proficiency in the use of OOMA within 90 days after assignmentHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the positionMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsMust have and maintain a Secret clearance and base access.USN/USMC experience preferred
