AvMC EITSS SharePoint Online & Power Apps Developer (Senior)
General Summary COLSA is seeking to hire a Senior SharePoint Online & Power Apps Developer to support our Enterprise IT Support Services work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville Alabama.  As a SharePoint & PowerApps developer, you will be responsible for leading, designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced SharePoint solutions.    You will work with our team of IT professionals to build SharePoint, JavaScript and Power Platform solutions for AvMC directorates and organizations. Work with business and technical stakeholders to define constraints, develop and document requirements, and identify, build, and deploy best-fit technical solutions.  Basic tasks to be performed by the SharePoint SA/ Power Apps Developer range from setting user permissions to designing and developing business processes within SharePoint Online (SPO) and Microsoft Power Platform environments. The SA/Developer will design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform applications. This includes working with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to design, develop, and maintain integrated solutions. The Developer will advise on automating workflows, integrating requirements with existing capabilities, communication requirements, control, and administration of information management systems, and equipment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

Architect, design, test, and implement multiple on-premises SharePoint Online solutions that are elegant, scalable, extensible, cost effective, and with an eye towards innovation and agility. Responsible for customization of AvMC on-premise cloud to meet business requirements.  Requires expertise with SharePoint Online site administration and page/list/library creation.  Requires strong knowledge and hands-on experience building Power Apps, Power Automate Flows, and configuration & customization of all SharePoint Online and Power Platform features.  Also requires expertise using Power BI for creating dashboards and analytics. Responsible for building solutions using the full suite of O365 solutions, including Teams, OneDrive and OneNote. Responsible for building and managing solutions in SharePoint that rely on JavaScript, HTML and/or REST to heavily customize the user interface, while using SharePoint as the framework for managing pages and content. Create conditional InfoPath Forms by utilizing rules and conditional formatting. Manage the full lifecycle (from requirements gathering, to development, to documentation and user support) of business solutions for government clients.  Work with customers to design and develop user interfaces; ensure site structure and functionality meets their needs. Collaborate with other members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines and budgets. Follow applicable Configuration and Change Management policies developed in accordance with IEEE and ISO to include source code management utilizing the AvMC standard software repositories. Follow cybersecurity policies to ensure compliance and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to support accreditation of software on the AvMC network. Support Human Center Design initiatives to re-evaluate and update existing sites and applications’ UI/UX. Troubleshoot problems with plugins/workflow and changes introduced with the latest version. May coordinate with partners to develop data models in order to generate reports and analytical solutions. May provide work leadership to other teammates.
