Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for contributing to and supporting data activities that continually improve the quality, depth, and breadth of the data to enhance business decisions that support Bank OZK’s data strategy. Essential Job Functions + Creates deliverables, milestones, timelines, and project assignments in support of data risk management activities. + Supports the Data Risk Management Program and ensures data risk initiatives are effectively executed. + Documents information required for report development during data discovery sessions with data stakeholders and subject matter experts. + Creates remediation plans to assist data stakeholders with data risk issue management. + Assists DRM team and data stakeholders with Atlan (DRM data management platform) coordination. + Monitors data risk management dashboards. + Participates in post-implementation monitoring activities, providing input and support to the project team, as needed. + Reviews written procedures, training materials, and communications to ensure all information surrounding data changes is managed appropriately and effectively. + Assess inherent, control and residual risks with expertise in common business practices and risk management. + Executes and communicates DRM program requirements. + Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by demonstrating leadership and communicating in a positive, professional manner to work effectively with co-workers, management, partners, and vendors. + Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions. + Maintains good punctuality and attendance at work. + Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities + Knowledge of Snowflake data platform. + Knowledge of SQL Server database. + Knowledge of assigned line of business processes, data sets, and underlying system of record(s) data. + Ability to effectively analyze and assess the quality of data across various data sources. + Ability to conduct data audits and perform data profiling on recurring and ad-hoc basis. + Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. + Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management. + Ability to demonstrate effective leadership and organizational awareness skills. + Ability to build relationships and influence across diverse groups of stakeholders. + Ability to lead and manage others. + Ability to assess needs and generate business intelligence reports and/or queries from databases. + Ability to work on multiple projects at once with exacting deadlines. + Ability to demonstrate initiative to accomplish work objectives. + Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment. + Ability to demonstrate effective organization, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to adapt to and manage change effectively. + Ability to work without close supervision. + Skill in using Collibra. + Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Basic Qualifications Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Business or Data Analytics (or other job-related field) or commensurate work experience, required. + 5+ years of experience in project management and/or data management, required. Preferred Qualifications: + 2+ years of experience in Risk Management, preferred.
