Job Description


Job Summary
Typically at the National level, monitors the progress of major legislative and regulatory issues and related government activities. Provides legislative and regulatory analysis and background information as necessary and advises them of the Business' views. Develops and implements strategies to influence National level outcomes positively to the Business.
 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


• Leads and oversees Policy and Government Advocacy (PGA) activities.
• Supervises PGA staff involved in MHI or MMS activities.
• Serves as PGA liaison to the state health plans or MMS accounts and senior advisor to PGA Vice President.
• Leads and coordinates lobbyists and their activities.
• In cooperation and coordination with site managers, Business Development Executives and lobbyists, leads development and implementation of and site-specific government relations strategic plans..
