Working alongside the Client and Senior Asset Managers, this position will have day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of fixed and floating rate mortgage and subordinate financing on behalf of multiple investment vehicles including insurance companies, a public mortgage REIT, managed funds and a non-traded REIT. The portfolio includes a broad spectrum of property types, including transitional, stabilized, pre-construction and construction loans for single assets and portfolios.

Asset manage a diverse CRE loan portfolio (e.g. senior/sub, property type, geography) including managing handoff process from the investment team, and evaluating ongoing borrower requests and loan performance.Monitor and analyze asset performance to identify and mitigate portfolio risk including utilizing operating/financial/tenant analysis and conducting property inspection and market research with Senior Asset Managers and the ClientProvide day-to-day direction and collaborate with the CRE debt team associates and analystsAnalyze and interpret loan documents and providing advice and direction to the Asset Management Team and Loan Servicing teamsAssist in resolving Focus loans, which could include loan modifications and workouts on defaulted loans, as neededReview disbursement requests, monitor draw procedures, manage flow of funds mechanics and internal loan administrationMake recommendations on asset management request, portfolio risk and Focus loans to head of Asset Management and CRE Debt Group Head for review and approval, as appropriate with Senior Asset ManagersStay abreast of relevant industry trends and thematic elements relevant to the businessOperate with a proactive portfolio management mindset to assess risk and escalate items when neededWork with internal stakeholders (e.g. risk, finance, servicing, valuation departments) and external partners (e.g. sponsors, co-lenders, attorneys, loan correspondents and third-party consultants)Prepare regular and ad hoc portfolio-level presentations and reviews with Senior Asset Managers Coordination with asset managers and borrowersSuch other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/ Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (accounting, business, finance, real estate) or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferredMinimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.Strong analytical, problem solving and computer skills with a thorough knowledge of excelExcellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills with attention to detailWork in a team environment yet think independently and generate quality work product with little supervisionManage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlinesAbility to approach work from more of a “transaction” basis versus “task” basisUnderstanding of real estate finance including debt and equity structuresExcellent reading and comprehension skillsAbility to communicate effectively both written and verbalAnalytical skills to understand complex commercial loan documentsStrong organizational and time management skillsUnderstanding of 3rd party reports including appraisals, property condition reports, and environmental reports.Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate ‘face to face’ as a team playerAbility to work in fast-paced environment running multiple tasks under tight deadlinesMS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word.MS Excel – Intermediate

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$140,000.00 - $160,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
