Job Description:

We are hiring for an AVP, Product Management to join our team.  AT&T is on a journey to transform its role in the market with the adoption of 5G and Fiber. This high-profile role is within the AT&T Business Product organization. You will be a critical member of the Business Wireless product team that is responsible for managing and leading converged product strategy. This position will manage a combined organization that will manage both the wireline and wireless CPE needs for business. This includes vendor management for all CRU devices as well as partnership and construction with vendors to deliver CPE for both portfolios.

In addition, this position will help define hardware needs in order to bring new converged wireless and wireline services to market. This position will also set strategy for AT&T business next generation converged product portfolio. This will include research, ideation, development and go to market planning for a new set of products and services that will capitalize on AT&T’s product leadership in wireless and Fiber. As part of the team, you will be responsible for building AT&T’s competitive position in the market and driving significant volume and revenue growth.

The role requires strategic thought leadership, product management and development expertise, and cross-company collaboration to bring new and exciting converged offerings to market.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Leads team responsible for product strategy to bring services to market, including concept development, product definition, market sizing, requesting capital investment, partnering with technical development teams, and managing product introductions.Owns P&L, inventory management and budgeting for CPE products within wireless voice and data, & value-added servicesPrepares and presents business cases for new products and services · Manages team to research, design and develop requirements based on customer needsLeads relationships and partnerships with 3rd party manufacturers · Creates product roadmap and project plans · Responsible for life cycle management on existing CPEManages budget and makes feature tradeoffs for teams on development effort · Plays role in wireless, wireline and converged device strategyGuides teams in support vendor and competitive evaluationsPartners with tech development, network, pricing, finance, operations, channel marketing, digital, sales, and finance

Experience:

Typically requires 10+ years’ experience, 8+ years product management or similar QualificationsKnowledge of wireline and wireless productsStrong leadership and communication skillsTrack record of leading and managing large, complex initiativesAbility to lead financial business case and analytical assessmentsPreferred Expertise in Product management or developmentRequirements gathering, business case development, and analytics, typically, an expert in a specific domain (Operations, Product, Technology, etc.)

Education:

Bachelors requiredMaster’s preferred in Business, Science, Engineering; or equivalent experience.

Our AT&T Assistant Vice President Management & Development - CPE and Converged Products earn between $ 231,700 - $ 347,500. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
