SWBC is seeking a talented individual to lead and oversee the asset recovery teams, ensuring the effective identification, recovery, and management of recoverable assets. The AVP will develop and implement asset recovery strategies and work closely with third party partners and clients to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
Essential duties include the following:
Develops and implements asset recovery strategies to maximize recovery rates. This includes staying on top of industry innovations and continually seeking ways to improve our process and procedures.Manages the teams responsible for all activities involved in processing vehicle repossessions to include contacting skip tracer firms to ensure vehicles are actively being searched and reassigning skip tracer firms when necessary, ensuring legitimate vehicle title transfers, and coordinating the sell and return of vehicles by using specialized knowledge of pricing, sales, and marketing to offset losses.Communicates with clients to understand their specific recovery needs and provide tailored solutions.Collaborates closely with internal legal teams to navigate complex legal issues and ensure compliance.Monitors and analyzes recovery performance of partners and adjusting partner utilization to maximize results.Oversees our partnerships to ensure quality of new business installation and analyzes and provides follow up assistance where necessary.Prepares detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholder.Provides guidance to the teams as it relates to salvage recovery for vehicle total-loss claims to ensure the maximum loss reduction by evaluating appraiser bids, determining the most equitable and fair salvage value, and deciding whether to deduct the loss or assume the salvage of deduct.Provides guidance to the teams as it relates to subrogation recovery for questionable losses paid out by SWBC by contacting insurance companies and legal agencies, presenting proper documentation, and monitoring progress of loss recovery.Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in asset recovery and remarketing industry.Proven history of successful asset recovery and team leadership.Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to asset recovery.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to develop and implement effective recovery strategies.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Able to lift 10-20 lbs.Able to travel, as needed, by car and airplane.SWBC offers*:
