A high-End Investment firm is seeking an AVP BSA Manager. Position Summary: The incumbent is a member of the BSA/AML leadership team and the Compliance executive team. As such, the individual will participate in projects and efforts related to the overall Compliance goals. The incumbent is responsible for the growth and development of the OFAC team members and supporting professional development efforts across BSA/AML, Compliance and key areas of WTFC. Job description: + Formulates and executes a multi-year strategy and vision for a best-in-class OFAC program, linking policy, technology, data, and enterprise-wide partnerships to succeed. + Development and oversight of the high risk and continuously evolving OFAC and sanctions functions, including maintenance of the OFAC policies and procedures, performing section 314(a) information sharing, OFAC list updates, preparing reports on blocked/rejected transactions, and escalation of serious OFAC compliance issues. + Management of the OFAC sanctions team including: coverage, maintaining SLA’s, training, and individual development. + Build team culture and promote a culture of inclusiveness. + Conceives and implements strategies and operational efficiencies to meet regulatory requirements operating within the company's risk appetite. + Subject matter expert in providing OFAC regulatory guidance in order to deliver advice based on a wide breadth of OFAC competencies. + Identify potential areas of sanctions compliance vulnerability and risk, propose solutions to resolve issues, and provide guidance for future avoidance of similar issues. + Applies best practices to all affiliate banks and subsidiaries. + Keep affiliates abreast of regulatory changes. + Responsible for non-bank oversight and monitoring of BSA Program. + Acts as a vital resource for OFAC sanctions awareness and processes for in-house training curriculum development. + BSA Project Management Leadership with cross-functional teams and drives solution oriented objectives. + Serves as a BSA/OFAC Officer for multiple Bank charters, providing an escalation point, single contact to answer questions and provide regular reporting to the Banks’ Boards and the Audit Committee and advise Board of Directors and Senior Management of any additions or deletions to the BSA Policy. Resolution of repeat SAR cases and high risk customers, including the escalation of unresolved issues. Requirements Requirements: + 7-10 years banking experience. 3-5 years BSA experience. + Previous experience undergoing BSA related examinations. + Applicable banking project management experience. + 3-5 years Managerial experience required. + CAMS certified or in the process of obtaining CAMS certification or other BSA/Fraud related certification and/or experience. + Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent work experience + Sound management skills, strong written and oral communication skills, problem solving and time management skills, knowledge of OFAC screening systems and industry best practices To apply to this hybrid role, please send your resume to John Sadofsky at john.sadofsky@roberthalf.c0m Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
