AVP - D&A Transformation and Execution
What You'll Do We’re searching for an AVP of Data & Analytics to lead a bold transformation of our data strategy, analytics capabilities, and overall data culture. In this highly visible role, you’ll drive innovation, challenge the status quo, and spearhead initiatives that position Principal as a data-driven powerhouse. You’ll oversee a dedicated team of data professionals, modernize our data architecture, and enable actionable insights that fuel strategic decision-making. Lead the development and execution of a multi-year data transformation strategy, aligning with business goals and growth objectives. Drive the adoption of next-generation technologies, including AI/ML, data automation, and cloud-based data platforms. Identify and champion innovative data solutions that create competitive advantage and new business opportunities. Build, refine, monitor and expand overall DA&AI (Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence) strategy in partnership with the data community, DA&AI domain leaders, Chief Data Officer and key technology partners. Collaborate with business units to define key use cases, pilot innovative approaches, and measure the impact of data initiatives. Provide strong leadership by clearly Communicating vision, goals and objectives to build line of sight for staff. Motivate, inspire, coach, and develop staff to empower them to be successful. Focus on performance management to align the right talent with the right roles, ensuring the team is well-positioned to deliver on key business strategies. Who You Are You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years related work experience and 3+ years of direct people management experience. You have a proven track record of driving large-scale data transformation initiatives that have delivered measurable business impact. You are Visionary & Strategic: You see the big picture and can design a roadmap to achieve it. You are an expert with advanced analytics techniques, including AI/ML, predictive modeling, and automation. Skills That Will Help You Stand Out Experience working in a global environment Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $174000 - $236000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
