To use innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from the bank's data reserves, leveraging these insights to inform strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organization.

Development and execution of data extraction strategies to gather relevant data from various sources, including internal systems, external databases, and third-party vendors. Design and conduct of statistical and machine learning models to analyze patterns, trends, and relationships in the data. Development and implementation of predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities. Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science.

To be successful as a Data Analyst & Automation Analyst, you should have experience with.

Mandatory knowledge of SQL and Python  Extensive knowledge of cloud concepts (code deployment) and Tableau. Experience of working on at least one complete Data Analytics project.End to End life cycle from Investigation to productionizing the solution.

Some other highly valued skills may include

Experience in risk management/ control assurance.Experience in / knowledge of automation tools and techniques such as Web Apps based on Python or R programming language, PowerApps and Power Automate .Ability to identify and learn emerging data analytics technologies and utilize them to deliver practical business solutions.Ability to perform complex quantitative analysis and translate results into meaningful business insights.Experience in training end users on data analysis technologies.

To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources. 

Accountabilities

Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
