We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Manager to join the Morgan Stanley Private Banking Group’s Deposits Product Management team. The team is responsible for a variety of deposit products, with an emphasis on driving a holistic and engaging product experience spanning sweep deposits, savings, checking, CDs, and foreign currency deposits.
The ideal candidate is passionate about creating best products possible as well continually enhancing existing products. This involves working on products from initial concept through to launch and beyond.

The Product Management team collaborates with cross functional partners in Treasury, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, Operations Technology to discover, develop, build, enhance and grow deposits. We leverage competitor data, market insights and data to design solutions that meet customer needs, align to business goals and maximize revenue for the firm.
Day-in-the-life of a Deposits Product Manager could include (but not limited to):
• Develop, build, and execute on the Deposits product strategy and priorities
• Work on innovative solutions
• Evaluate, size, and develop new product opportunities and initiatives
• Manage the Savings Programs and drive product management decisions
• Draft client communication, disclosures, and mock up online and mobile displays
• Lead projects from start to finish, working with cross-functional teams including partners from treasury, finance, technology, operations, legal, and compliance to launch and implement new initiatives
• Work with partners to drive insight generation and gather fact base to support decision making
• Support Financial Advisor and Private Banker engagement with all deposit products and client opportunities

Required Experience• 4 - 6 years of professional experience in product management or banking services• Banking, wealth management and/or top tier consulting firm with a focus on banking or wealth management is a plus• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, strategic initiatives• BA/BS requiredSkills/Abilities• Analytical strategic thinker able to define and evaluate alternatives, problem solve, translate goals into specific project tasks• Excellent relationship building capabilities with internal and external partners to build consensus, drive solutions• Self-starter who is able to work independently on multiple tasks; efficient time management skills and attention to detail• Strong product intuition and user empathy• Great presentation and PowerPoint skills, with ability to put together cohesive, senior management-ready decks• Strong communicator with solid written and verbal presentation skills• Appreciate encourage diversity of people, ideas perspectives Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
