In this role, you will:

Participate in functions related to financial research and reportingForecast analysis of key metrics, as well as other financial consulting related to business performance, operating and strategic reviewsIdentify opportunities for process improvements within the scope of responsibilitiesResearch moderate to complex financial data in support of management decision-making for a businessCreate and communicate various activities such as product pricing, product, and portfolio performanceExercise independent judgment to guide key metrics forecasting, closing data and validationPresent recommendations for resolving all aspects of delivering key forecasting projections as well as financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecastingDevelop expertise on reporting that meets brand standards and internal control standardsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

CA / CMA / MBA Graduate with financial or banking sectors experienceProgressive track record of management reporting experience with familiarity of running and or working in a geographically diverse teamStrong Financial analysis and experience in providing timely and relevant recommendations to drive business decisions and outcomesDemonstrable change management skills, particularly those involving process re-engineering and systems changeStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to give presentations and briefings to senior managementCreative and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to analyze business transactions and identify key Finance risks/mitigating controls,Ability to work under pressure and maintain high energy levelsMust be able to work independently with positive collaboration within a fast paced, team environmentStrong analytical, reporting and presentation skillsExposure to key accounting tools like Oracle Financials, Essbase etc.High integrity and do what is right, fair and respectfulInnovative problem solverRelationship building skillsAttention to detail – Recognizes the importance of detail to ensure data integrityComfortable to work in Rotational shiftsAdvanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) skills and exposure to tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx would be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) activitiesTracking and execution of CIB management reporting deliverables. This is aligned with financial data, analysis and insights provided to US Banking LOB business partnersForecasting on the annual plans, 5 year, outlook and rolling forecasts with monitoring and tracking against the outlook.Understand and where required, communicate on details of revenues, direct and indirect operating expense planning and analysis.Ad-hoc management reporting analysis on Banking balance sheet, income and expense items.Data analytics and managementMaintain Essbase data, organization hierarchies, data mappingLoading and analysis data on large data setsAdvanced Excel and moderate Visual Basic skills would be an advantagePresentations and documentation, as requiredPrepare presentations based on FPA insights and reviews for senior managementMaintain process documentation and maps, SOPs, etc.Standardize presentations across multiple stakeholderProject supportExecution support of Banking strategic initiativesParticipate or manage ad-hoc project that may arise from Finance project initiativesControl activities and operational Risk supportDevelop processes and infrastructure controls to ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant Wells Fargo's policies and procedures.Issue management support to close, monitor, build controls, etc.Operational support of model risk, end user computing tools, tracking, remediation, etc.Maintain and support business continuity plansProduce complex reporting and analytics to provide management with meaningful insight into underlying drivers impacts balances and income forecastsEnsure accurate recurring deliverables are completed timely, establish controlled processes, and support ongoing strategic initiatives such as forecast transformation efforts, process improvements, forecasting model built-out and enhancement, etc.Constantly look for opportunities to improve processes, enhance controls, and build advanced analyticsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to meet deadlines, resolve issues and achieve goalsReceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
