Website: https://www.aon.com/apac/india/default.jsp Job Dimensions (Role and Responsibilities): Regular meetings with clients/reinsurers and updating the developments in the markets and seasonal development. Understanding of clients / reinsurers requirements and queries, develop strategy to meet the requirement of the stakeholders. Oversee timely and adequate survey of ground conditions including and not limited to crop, livestock and aquaculture, weather/catastrophe event impacts etc. Independently evaluate ground condition through knowledge of agriculture (crop, livestock, aquaculture) and communication with farmers and insurers and ground management team. Report findings concisely and effectively to internal stakeholders such as brokers and analytics team, and external stakeholders such as reinsurers etc. Manage projects on ground management and loss assessments, including vendor management and deployment. Guide external vendors based on sound knowledge of official guidelines and protocols such as CCEs, localised claims etc. Communicate findings effectively and timely to internal stakeholders and clients. Technology intervention and digitization of the available data, existing processes etc. Assist with enquiries from internal and external stakeholders on ground-related matters, official guideline implementation etc during placement and during the seasons. Organise and accompany stakeholders on field/extensive ground visits. Independently source and obtain necessary data and information such as rainfall, sowing etc required for reports. Gather pricing and claims-related information and assisting the team in preparing and processing data to aid in the pricing of Indian crop programs such as PMFBY and RWBCIS. Preparation of various data & analytical reports (qualitative as well as quantitative) as per the requirement of re/insurers from time to time to help them in better understanding and selection of risks. Support clients on matter related to claims management, government liaison, vendor coordination, and technical consultation. Execute projects for allied insurance sectors, including Livestock and Aquaculture Insurance, by overseeing project tasks, vendor and database management, government liaison, claims processing, stakeholder coordination, and technical support. Assist with technical aspects, such as portal development and dashboard creation for insurers and reinsurers, collaboration with technology firms, NGOs, and research institutions. Skills and Attitude: Experience in reinsurance or insurance industry working in analytical roles, more than 10 years of experience, preferable relevant experience in Rural insurance products such as weather, crop insurance. Strong computer skills in MS Office suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Experience with and understanding of Catastrophe models and their relevant outputs is required. Ability to use complex computer programs, to organize and cleanse data, to analyze primary company coverage and understanding of the reinsurance contracts. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the corporation and various business units. Ability to travel within the Asia region to facilitate client presentations, seminars and conferences as required. 2554093
