We are looking for a talented AWS Architect to join our team and help scale our cloud infrastructure to support our expanding operations.
Job Description
As an AWS Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimising our cloud-based infrastructure to ensure seamless operations of our EV charging network. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available, secure, and scalable solutions that enhance user experiences and support our company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement cloud architectures leveraging AWS services to support our EV charging platforms.
* Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to design scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions.
* Optimise system performance, reliability, and security in line with industry best practices.
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
* Set up CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
* Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure operational excellence.
* Design solutions for data processing, storage, and analytics to support usage insights and machine learning applications.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and system issues as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience: Minimum of [5+] years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on AWS.
* AWS expertise: Hands-on experience with core AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, and Route 53.
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
* Networking: Solid understanding of VPC, VPN, load balancers, and security groups.
* Automation & DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
* Security: Expertise in IAM, data encryption, and securing cloud architectures.
* Data Solutions: Familiarity with AWS data services like Redshift, Glue, or Athena.
* Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
