We have an opportunity for a new team member to join our Business Intelligence whilst we prepare to embark on a global transformation programme to move from our on-premise service to OneData (AWS/Qlik) platform: **Skills needed:** + Experience with AWS serverless services like Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, Lake Formation including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources. + Experience with data processing and manipulation using Python. + Experience with DevOps using Git source control systems. + Strong understanding of general networking and accessing data via Web API. **Desired Qualifications:** + AWS Glue: Familiarity with AWS Glue for carrying out ETL operations, including understanding of Glue Catalog, Glue Jobs, and Glue Crawlers. + AWS S3: Good knowledge of AWS S3 for data storage and retrieval, including understanding of S3 bucket management, data transfer, and security features. + AWS Lake Formation: Experience with AWS Lake Formation for creating, securing, and managing data lakes, including understanding of data lake architecture and security policies. + AWS Athena: Ability to use AWS Athena for data querying, including basic SQL knowledge and the ability to optimize queries for performance. + AWS Redshift: Understanding of AWS Redshift for data warehousing tasks, including knowledge of data loading, data modeling, and performance tuning. + AWS Aurora: Familiarity with AWS Aurora for relational database services, including understanding of database management, SQL, and database optimization. + Data Modeling: Skills in designing and implementing data models for specific use cases. Security: Basic understanding of AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption. + Performance Tuning: Skills in optimizing the performance of AWS services for specific use cases. + Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to AWS services.
