Job Responsibilities:\n

Will provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Responsible for any technological duties associated with cloud computing, including design, planning, management, maintenance and support. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. Must provide subject matter expertise in using AWS technology, AWS security best practices, AWS storage options and their underlying consistency models, and AWS networking nuances and how they relate to the integration of AWS services. Knowledge of advanced networking architectures and interconnectivity options [e.g., IP VPN, multiprotocol label switching (MPLS), virtual private LAN service (VPLS)]. \n

Job Description: \n\nA bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years of experience in this field.\nExtensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda).\nStrong knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash.\nExperience with infrastructure as code tools.\nDeep understanding of cloud security principles and practices.\nFamiliarity with Kubernetes.\nIAT II certification required.\nTS\/SCI clearance required.\n\n

An AWS Cloud Engineer should have AWS certifications or trainings in at least one of the listed below. Three (3) years proven relevant experience may be substituted as applicable to each certification or training. AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or training\n\nAWS SysOps Administrator Certification or training\nAWS DevOp Engineer Certification or training\n\n
