Job Title: AWS Data Architect (Onsite)

Location: Hartford, CT

Roles and responsibilities:

Analyze the critical/Non-critical and Third-party data to suggest a robust data model and integration pattern without breaking the existing publishing processes.

Ensure that data is accessible secure and reliable by developing and maintaining data frameworks models and policies.

Understand the overall data requirements and improve databases to work faster and handle more data efficiently.

Managing end-to-end data architecture from selecting the platform designing the technical architecture and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution.

Understands the business needs explores the existing data patterns and data stores to create a blueprint for building an integrated framework of easily accessible data aligned with business strategy.

Deeply understand the data architecture and considers all data sources concerning business operations and outlines a design to integrate centralize.

Develop and implement an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes.

Identifying data sources both internal and external and work out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy.

Broad understanding of ETL/MDM/Data governance and Quality with demonstrable experience on tools technologies and data stores involved.

Required Qualifications:

More than 12 years of Industry experience playing a role of a Solution architect integrating efficient data processing platforms.

Expert knowledge on AWS platform and integration pattern that work in concurrence with AWS adhering to policy and security standards.

Good experience architecting Data management, Data quality, Data integration and Master Data Management programs as per enterprise standards.

Solid experience architecting both RDBMS and NoSQL db.

Strong experience with data model designs database development standards implementation and management of data stores and data analytics systems.

Certifications Required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Spark Developer, Python Institute Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 09/29/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $158,000.00 – $186,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
