Role : AWS Data Engineer / AWS Cloud Developer
We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer / Cloud Developer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Glue (PySpark), SNS, SQS, and strong database knowledge in PostgreSQL and Oracle. The role involves working on web service development and data pipelines, integrating various AWS components for scalable and efficient processing.
Key Responsibilities:
• 6 to 9 years of experience
• Work location is Bangalore , with hybrid model
• Develop and maintain AWS serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Python.
• Design and implement workflows using AWS Step Functions for process automation.
• Build ETL pipelines using AWS Glue (PySpark) to process and transform large datasets.
• Integrate messaging services such as AWS SNS and SQS for event-driven architectures.
• Manage and optimize databases like PostgreSQL and Oracle, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Develop RESTful APIs and web services for seamless integration with cloud-based applications.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AWS-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, data engineers, and software developers.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications for better performance and cost efficiency.
Required Skills:
• Programming: Strong expertise in Python for backend development.
• AWS Services: Hands-on experience with Lambda, Step Functions, Glue (PySpark), SNS, SQS.
• Database Management: Experience working with PostgreSQL and Oracle (basic level).
• Web Services Development: Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Cloud Architecture: Understanding of AWS best practices, serverless architectures, and event-driven design patterns.
• Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize ETL jobs, database queries, and AWS resource utilization.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of IAM roles, security best practices, and AWS networking.
• Exposure to Terraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• AWS Certification (AWS Developer Associate / AWS Solutions Architect) is a plus.
