AWS Lead Architect

Location : Charlotte NC ( Onsite role )

Role Expectations

Complete ownership of the program and represent Cognizant to client stakeholders. Candidate should have deep technical expertise on AWS Cloud infrastructure automation which includes end to end provisioning, management, operations and optimization. Candite will be the SME and single point of contact for client and Cognizant teams to implement best practices in Infra automation and DevOps. Candidate should have experience in implementing Terraform in AWS on real-time applications. Perform a role of Enterprise Cloud Architect which include Infrastructure, DevOps and Application integrations. Excellent understanding Cloud Cost Optimization levers. Candidate should be able to convert directional statements from customer into product features in technical terms, work with product design expert and team on the ground to elaborate them into deliverable stories. Interact frequently with CIO and provide updates on program progress, ideate on solutions, and resolve bottlenecks. Be able to prioritize product features based on discussion with IT Operators and client managers so that customer gets major benefits from the solution upfront. Candidate should be flexible to work and deliver for onshore- offshore model.

Other Role expectations :

· Understand existing Maturity in Cloud SRE and provide strategical roadmap to improve.

· Setup Cloud COE of cross functional team to promote technical agility within client environment.

· Excellent understanding of SLI, SLO and SLA’s and QOS

· Implement DevSecOps Maturity model to increase the business outcome.

· Provide technology inputs to client’s senior leadership team to elevate the client’s scale of business.

· Take complete ownership of ideas & implementation end to end.

Job responsibilities:

Strong technical background on Infrastructure design and Infra automation (IaC), cloud Operations (resource provisioning, patching, DR, configuration management, tagging, logging, performance & capacity management, incident management, event management etc.) Good knowledge on the DevSecOps, CICD Pipeline, Observability Strong communication and collaboration skills Strong experience on the Change management process Strong experience in Presentation to executive leadership team Experience in the Technical Program Management Lifecycle Knowledge of Agile / Lean processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 16+ years of IT experience with 8-10 years of AWS Cloud experience

• AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification and Terraform would be a plus.

• Good to have Azure Experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to create and walk-through technical presentations to executives.

• Strong program management skills with agile and scrum methodologies.
