Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements.

 

Responsibilities

The AWS Native Developer is tasked with designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies.

Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services such as S3, EC2, and LambdaDesign and implement complex and highly scalable AWS data pipelines that integrate with various data sources and servicesDevelop Lambda functions using TypeScript and NodeJS coding languages to implement business logic and data processingUtilize RDS/PostgreSQL databases to store and retrieve data, and designing efficient database schemas and queriesKeep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices and applying them to continually improve the quality and efficiency of the solutions developedCollaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure that the solutions developed integrate seamlessly with existing systems and processesDemonstrate the ability to ramp up quickly on the client's tech stack, and quickly learn new technologies, tools, and processes to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

7+ of relevant programming experience is requiredHands-on experience with various AWS native services including S3, EC2, LambdaExtensive experience with Lambda developmentKnowledge of building complex and highly scalable AWS data pipelineStrong experience with TypeScript and NodeJS coding languages and RDS/PostgreSQL databaseNeeds to be a fast learner and demonstrate ability to ramp up quickly on our lclient's tech stack

Preferred Requirements

Experience with using libraries including knexjs to connect with PostgreSQL/Jest for unit testingShould be well versed using Git (preferably GitLab, but any incarnation of Git is ok) and CI/CD process (Jenkins highly preferred)

Education/Certification Requirements

A Bachelors degree is required for this position

Clearance Requirements

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Secret clearance is required. Please be aware that onboarding can take 4-6 weeks for this position.
