CGI is looking for a Network Architect to lead the design and optimization of AWS network architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a network environment that is secure, scalable, and highly performant across multi-account AWS infrastructure. Your expertise will be critical in minimizing latency, ensuring reliable cross-account communication, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

You are an expert in cloud networking with a comprehensive understanding of AWS networking services. You are skilled at designing and implementing network solutions that support complex, large-scale environments. Your deep knowledge of networking, coupled with your problem-solving skills, enables you to tackle the most challenging network-related issues, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
• Network Design and Optimization: Lead the design and implementation of network architectures that ensure high performance, security, and scalability across multi-account AWS environment.
• Cross-Account Communication: Optimize and manage cross-account communication to reduce latency and enhance performance, ensuring seamless integration across all AWS accounts.
• Network Security: Collaborate with the security team to implement network security measures, such as VPC configurations, peering, and routing, that protect cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert troubleshooting support for network-related issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption to services.
• Continuous Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor network performance and utilization, adjusting as needed to maintain optimal connectivity and performance.
• Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Networking, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing network architectures within AWS environments.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking services, including VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and Route 53.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices, including experience with firewall configurations, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Considered strong assets:
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises networks with cloud networks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and network automation tools, such as Terraform and Ansible.
