Salesforce is seeking a GTM Partnership Account Manager with the ambition, experience, and agility to accelerate our most strategic technology partnerships.  This individual will drive incremental ACV with our mutual customers by working across our joint field teams to identify, accelerate, and grow the adoption of our integrated solutions.  Partner Account Manager is a high-visibility role responsible for building and executing a comprehensive GTM strategy, collaborating with partner and internal sales executives, and influencing internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Enablement.  


BUSINESS NEED 

AWS is Salesforce’s largest customer, vendor, and partner.  Our extensive partnership focuses on driving the success of our largest mutual customers by making it easier to buy and build across the Salesforce and AWS platforms.  This year, in addition to our extensive product integrations, we have unlocked AWS Marketplace as a meaningful growth lever for Salesforce.  Success in this role will be determined by the ability to accelerate AWS and Salesforce ACV, build scalable activation, and scale adoption of our joint platforms.  


DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The Salesforce Strategic Technology Partnerships team establishes, grows, and executes transformational partnerships for Salesforce globally. Our partnerships drive revenue, increase customer success, deliver innovative product roadmap, elevate our brand, and differentiate our company.  Our team creates new ways of operating as a business, solves critical and complex problems, and supports our most impactful corporate priorities.  Our team values trust, grit, agility, and inclusivity.


RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build and maintain AWS marketplace demand generation and pipeline with programs targeting scalable transaction 
* Establish and execute AWS co-sell programs
* Assist in the development of co-sell “how-to” content to drive opportunity identification, opportunity expansion, deal wins, and customer adoption of joint solutions 
* Support sales programs teams in partnership enablement
* SME for partnership assets including FAQs, FCD, Sellers Guide, Sales Plays, and Competitive Narratives
* Build repeatable and scalable sales team engagement motions to drive opportunity identification 
 

DESIRED SKILLS

* Success identifying, accelerating and growing customer opportunities 
* Managing sales activities including pipeline generation, maturation and forecasting 
* Understanding of sales operations including quoting and escalation management 
* Ability to quickly prioritize competing high-visibility activities 
* Excellent written and verbal skills 
* Experience building and executing scalable programs 
* Get-it-Done confidence to pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity
* Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to excel under high-pressure situations
 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

* 5+ years experience in leading programs 
* Strong acumen to drive scalable strategy and execution
* Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce
* Knowledge and experience working with public cloud providers (ie AWS, Google)

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $105,600 to $145,200.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
