Job Summary

As a Senior Developer with expertise in Python AWS Snowflake you will play a pivotal role in designing developing and maintaining data solutions that drive our business forward. With a focus on Property and Casualty Insurance you will leverage your technical skills to create robust and scalable data architectures. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality insurance solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

Design and develop data solutions using AWS Python Snowflake to meet business requirements. Oversee the implementation of data architectures that ensure data integrity security and performance. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure the scalability and reliability of data solutions by implementing best practices and industry standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data solutions. Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance system performance. Develop and maintain documentation for data solutions including design specifications and user guides. Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data technologies and incorporate them into solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in Snowflake AWS and Python. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Have experience in Property and Casualty Insurance which is a plus. Show proficiency in designing and developing scalable data architectures. Display a strong understanding of ETL processes and best practices. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 10/10/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $[100,000 – 120,000 USD] depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
