Basic Purpose of Job:
This role will be responsible for supporting the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to U.S. Regulators through the reporting tool AXIOM.
Responsibilities & Tasks Include:
Has working experience in Fed Reports ex: FR Y9C, FFIEC 031 (Call Report), 14Q, Treasury International Capital, BE surveys etc in AXIOM tool
Able to interpret the regulator instructions and bridge the gap between IT and the Reporting team in understanding and interpreting the needs to meet the strategic/long term objective
Good knowledge on AXIOM Controller view from a technical perspective and able to connect the dots from a functional perspective on the capabilities of the tool
Own the production support, Change management, remediation of audit items simultaneously during the reporting cycle
Knowledge on preparing/interpreting the Data lineage, Business requirement document , test-case scenario and strategy and other project artifacts in any automation
Brainstorm and come up with tactical and strategic solutions on Issue management
About You:
10-15 yrs. of experience in banking or financial services
Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills
Proven track record of stakeholder management and people management
Proven track record of successful project execution
Ability to multi-task and work under high pressure deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work with other departments and represent the team in a positive manner
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with bank reporting
High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
Familiarity with financial products and financial institution operations
Skills/ Knowledge
Proficiency in AXIOM
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Advanced Microsoft Excel and ability to manipulate data
Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, Spot Fire, would be a plus
Financial and accounting skillset – knowledge of regulatory reports and forms
Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
