Implement and manage Active Directory on Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022. Understand Active Directory topology, replication components, and troubleshoot replication issues. Execute domain migration and consolidation for large enterprises. Place Domain Controllers for disaster recovery scenarios and perform metadata cleanup. Manage AD Integrated DNS, DNS migration & consolidation, and understand the use of different DNS zones. Handle SRV records, conditional forwarders, root hints, and DNS scavenging procedures. Design, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Group Policy Preferences (GPPs). Understand and troubleshoot issues related to different types of trusts. Work with authentication protocols, users, and workstation authentication procedures. Remediate issues identified by Risk Assessment Programs. Manage ADFS, Azure AD Connect, and Active Directory Certificate Services. Manage Azure AD environment – MFA, SSO, PIM, Federations, SSPR, and troubleshoot related issues. Perform server security hardening, including patching, antivirus, TLS encryptions, and implementing security policies. Utilize PowerShell scripting to perform and automate various tasks. Have conceptual and design knowledge on AD migration and upgrade from different Windows Server operating system flavors (Windows 2016/2019/2022).

Additional Skills:

Strong understanding of customer infrastructure and related Configuration Items (CIs). ITIL Foundation certification is required. Thorough hardware knowledge. Basic understanding of capacity planning. Basic understanding of storage and backup. Networking: Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls. Minimum knowledge and hands-on experience with BGP. Good understanding of load balancers and WAN optimizers. Advanced backup and restore knowledge in backup tools. Server: Basic to intermediate PowerShell/BASH/Python scripting knowledge and experience with script-based tasks. Knowledge of AD group policy management, group policy tools, and troubleshooting GPO s. Basic AD object creation, DNS concepts, DHCP, DFS. Experience with tools like SCCM and SCOM administration. Storage and Backup: Subject Matter Expert (SME) in any storage and backup technology. Tools: Proficient in understanding and troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems. Monitoring: Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and functions. Database: General knowledge of database management. Knowledge in operating system (OS) systems and networking skills.
