Position: Azure Data Engineer Location: San Antonio, TX - Onsite Duration: Long Term Need expereince on Azure Stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse) is mandatory Key Responsibilities: + Partner with business unit IT teams to discuss, gather, and document analytics solution requirements. + Partner with IT Infrastructure team architects to define, acquire, and deploy cloud services required for a given cloud analytics solution. + Partner with cloud service providers on cloud capabilities. + Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing data & analytics solutions ingested from multiple source systems. + Day-to-day management and support for analytics platforms to ensure availability and optimal performance. + Demonstrate interpersonal skills needed to function effectively as a member of the team. + Exhibit customer focus while interfacing with business partners. + Work on other reporting and business intelligence related tasks as necessary. Required Skills: + 8+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse developer, Data Engineer in developing analytics solutions. + Expert level understanding of Cloud Data Warehouse Architecture, and Modeling + Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience working with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and various services applicable to analytics workloads + Working experience with BI Visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau + Working knowledge of functional processes in the areas of Finance, supply chain, logistics. Oil & Gas experience in these areas is a plus + Hands on working experience with DevOps, Agile, Scrum methodologies as it relates to analytics solution development.
