The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure. This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Fairfax,VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** Design and Development: o Develop and deploy cloud applications and services on the Microsoft Azure platform. o Design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions using Azure services like App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Storage. Infrastructure as Code: o Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Terraform. Integration and Deployment: o Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployment and testing. Monitoring and Optimization: o Monitor application performance and optimize for scalability and cost-efficiency using Azure Monitor and Application Insights. Collaboration: o Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • Experience o Ņ+ years of experience in cloud development, specifically with Microsoft Azure. o Strong experience with Azure services like App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Storage. o Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript. o Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS). • Tools and Frameworks o Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools. o Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates and Terraform. • Education o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Soft Skills: o Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. o Excellent communication and collaboration skills. o Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
