Azure DevOps Administrator - MSOL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure DevOps Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Azure cloud administration, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. As a Azure DevOps Administrator will be responsible for handling and optimizing our Azure infrastructure, implementing DevOps practices, and ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications.
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Azure Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and handle scalable, secure, and resilient Azure cloud infrastructure. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Azure resources. Optimize resource allocation and cost management within the Azure environment. DevOps Practices Implementation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools. Automate deployment processes to achieve zero-downtime and efficient releases. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of code. Security and Compliance: Implement and handle security standard methodologies for Azure resources. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up and handle monitoring solutions for proactive issue detection and resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues promptly. Provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and perform root cause analysis. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multi-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Document processes, configurations, and standard methodologies for knowledge sharing. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Azure services, tools, and standard methodologies. See opportunities for automation and process improvements.   For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. At least 6 years of experience in Azure cloud administration and/or engineering. Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC). Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Active Directory. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Solid understanding of networking concepts, security standard processes, and cloud governance. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under stress. Good communication and collaboration skills.
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
