You will work with various projects and clients, working towards client specifications. You will have a real passion for the philosophy of DevOps which they’ll be able to use to their advantage and deliver value for our clients. Your role will involve designing and deploying solutions to the cloud which will allow automatic provisioning and management of environments, the capability to continuously integrate and containerisation functionality and the automation of testing. **Required technical and professional expertise** Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and manage Azure Pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). * Configure and maintain Azure Repos for version control and source code management. * Administer Azure Boards for project management and tracking of work item progress. * Utilize Azure Test Plans for planning and executing tests, and Azure Artifacts for package management. * Collaborate with development teams to optimize development processes and tooling. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Azure DevOps environments. * Ensure all DevOps practices comply with public sector regulations and standards. * Mentor team members on Azure DevOps best practices and tools. An advanced degree is a plus. * Professional experience as a Azure DevOps Engineer. * Proven experience in the public sector or government projects, preferably in a similar role. * Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Boards, Azure Test Plans, and Azure Artifacts. * Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. * Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. * Knowledge of public sector regulations and standards relevant to software development and DevOps.
